So we are back from our week-end away. It was an amazing week-end. The reason we were away is we are taking part in a couple’s course. It is actually a really good course. It is about the foundation of your relationship and how to keep it strong. It also teaches communication skills focusing on problem solving effectively. The only downside for us was we have been through so much in the past year that without knowing it we have been using these skills already. Well I guess it’s not a downside. It was validation to us that we are doing it right. Also we were able to get tips to fine tune the skills we already use. Was a very nice week-end. Too bad the weather wasn’t nicer. We wanted to walk around the resort Saturday evening and take pictures but it was really cold and very windy. So instead we relaxed in our room. We also ate a lot. I think I gained 15 pounds over the week-end (ok maybe I am Exaggerating a bit). There were snacks (fruit, cookies, chocolate) available through out the day and the meals provided had more food than either of us could finish.
So that is my summary of my great week-end away. Was wonderful and I enjoyed every moment of it and the time we got to spend just the two of us. I did miss Little Man like crazy though and was so happy to get back home to him. I now have about 80 posts to read from other blogs I follow and need to go work on the bloggers course that yes I did get a scholarship to.
