Well doesn’t it suck to be me. A couple of months ago I quit smoking and took up what is known as vaping. It has been a wonderful transition and has helped Tobei and I both make the transition to a healthier life than we were living. More on vaping at another date as that is not the point of this post.
Last week a company that Tobei and I have sponsor our vaping show (again more at another date) launched a brand new line of juice for vapers. They sent us the entire line to try out. TWENTY BOTTLES! Stupid me decided I was going to try out all 2o flavours in one evening. Needless to say my throat started to hurt. I ignored it and continued on with my week-end.
Last week-end was our 1 year wedding anniversary but I had just arrived home from Mom 2.0 Summit in Arizona so we decided to celebrate a week late. We spent our week-end celebrating then finished off our week-end hosting our Sunday night internet show. I should have known better. Soon as the show as over I had no more voice.
Today I went to my doctor and it ends up I irritated my throat and pushed it past its limits and I now have laryngitis. Doctors orders……. no talking, lots of warm liquid with honey and lemon and rest. Umm did the doctor forget I am a mom?
Laryngitis and parenting do not go together what so ever. Little Brother sucks at charades and can’t read. So parenting him kind of didn’t work out all that well. Big Brother rocks at charades but it gets frustrating as hell not being able to yell at your children and having to bang on a table or wall to get their attention. Add on to it all Tobei has thrown out his back AGAIN and this is going to be a long ass week.
