So who actually likes travelling? I was terrified to travel tonight to ShesConnected which is tomorrow. Super excited to be attending though. So anyways my train was at 6:14 and like the nervous traveller that I am I get to the train station at 5. Cheryl from The Beautiful Hectic was all set to go to pick me up from Union station.

So here I am sitting and waiting when they come over the PA system. Ladies and gentlemen your train has been delayed and you will instead be boarding the next train through at 7:04. Well doesn’t that just suck. So off I go msn’ing Cheryl to let her know I will be late. It is cool though only an hour. It sucks that Via is cutting into our time but we have next week to spend 3 days together at Blissdom Canada. Did I mention Julia from Nugglemama’s Handful is waiting for me as well. Oh well nothing I can do. Well then doesn’t the train they move me to come in 20 minutes late. Now I am annoyed. Where is my free drinks on board for the inconvenience? I am now going to be about an hour and a half late getting into Toronto.
So that is the start to my trip away. How was yours?
I couldn’t post this while on the train as we kept losing wifi so I am posting it now. Over the next few days there will be a few posts about my experience at the conference but I am trying to space them out. For those of you wondering, shortly after I finished writing this post they did come by with my adult drinks. Gavin if you are reading this, was nice meeting you.
