A couple of months ago I was hanging out on twitter and was talking about vitamins with a few other people. During our conversation I had mentioned how I keep buying vitamins for the family but we are always forgetting to take them. Deborah pipes up and says “That is because you have never tried our vitamins”. True, I never had. So she offers to send me some to try out. I give her my address and a few days later the adult essential and ironkids gummies arrive in my mail.
Since the day they arrived my kid has not allowed me to forget his vitamins. Every day I get “mommy can I have the vitamins that keep me healthy”. Heck sometimes he asks for a snack and when I say no he says “well can I have vitamins then”. He seriously loves these gummy vitamins. The bonus to him asking EVERY DAY is that his are right beside mine so when I give him vitamins I take my own. Sadly we are almost out and I will have to actually see what the price of these gummies are. I am scared. However that is not the point to this post. I wanted to share with you just how smooth and smart Big Brother is.
Today was Family Day here in Ontario so he had no school. He was driving me crazy all day, if he wasn’t talking he was making sounds just for the fun of making noise. I come out of the kitchen and sit down on the couch.
Big Brother – Mommy can I have a snack.
Me – No
Big Brother – But I am hungry
Me – Then you should have finished your lunch. (We had just had lunch like 10 minutes ago)
Big Brother – Well then can I have the vitamins that keep me healthy?
Me – Sure, next time I go in the kitchen I will get them for you
Big Brother – OK. Soooo ummm mommy do you want a cup of coffee or something?
Me – Too busy laughing to say anything
Disclaimer: I was not sent these vitamins to review or even post about. It just so happens they made a good story to share with you so got some blog post love.
