Day 11 – Come Up With 10 Post Ideas
While briefly skimming this book before I thought the whole point of Day 11 was to pull 10 different posts out of your butt. Since I am someone who blogs on whatever happens to be on my mind at the moment I thought this was pretty worthless. Then today I actually read the information provided to us for day 11. Well don’t I feel stupid now. The idea behind today’s lesson is to take a post you have already written and brainstorm how you can expand on that post. Genius! Not only do you get some flow in your blog by expanding on previous posts but this also allows for linking back to the post and bringing life back to the original.
What I did for today’s task was I went to bubbl.us which is an online brainstorming tool. You know where you take a piece of paper and start drawing circles and lines between ideas. Well this is the exact same thing except it is online. You can also create an account so you can save your brainstorming then go back to it another day to either expand on it or remind yourself of those ideas and inspire a new blog post.
So what ideas did I come up with? What did I actually produce today for this task? That is a secret. You must keep tuned in to see what great posts come up in the future that are spin offs of past posts. You know you are curious now.
