Sears has always been a part of the Canadian shopping experience but has never been somewhere that I shopped. When I thought of Sears I thought of old people like my grandparents, outdated stores and expensive.
Recently I was invited to be a Sears Baby’s Room Ambassador to check out their new look and to share with YOU my awesome readers just how things have changed.
When I went in to my local Sears I was amazed to see it bright, welcoming and well laid out. Each Sears – The Baby’s Room has 5 categories – they have their Nursery section (beds, change tables, décor etc.), Travel section (car seats, etc.), Feeding (high chair, bottles, utensils etc.), Bath & Accessories (tubs, rings and sinks, etc.) and Gifting (rattles, layettes, etc.). Associates have been trained around all products in each of the 5 categories.
Know what makes it even more awesome, they have the selection all laid out so you can actually see items, compare and make an informed decision on your purchases.
Yes you can only see 2 playpens but there were about 6 on display. See the row of 3 travel systems. There were SIX ROWS set up just like that. Take them for a test spin and try them out. Trust me one of your best investments in my opinion is a good stroller.
I only took so many pictures as I was on limited time but they even have rooms mock ups with cribs, change tables and dressers to help you choose your nursery.
Seriously I could go on and on about the amazing new fresh face of Sears The Baby’s Room. I am truly looking forward to sharing with you over the next 6 months all I have to learn about what Sears The Baby’s Room has to offer. I have found my new go to place for all things baby. Bonus points, they made the place easy to navigate with strollers. If that doesn’t earn them a visit from you then I don’t know what does.
Disclosure: I am part of the Sears – The Baby’s Room Ambassador program with Mom Central Canada and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.
