The other day I am sitting at the computer doing some reading when Big Brother walks up to me and says “Mommy can you draw me a picture”. Now mommy is no artist but how can I say no to my little boy.
He brings me a giant piece of paper and tells me I have to write my name first. As I start writing he says “No Mommy, you have to write it on the line”. My bad, so I write it on the line and the I draw my picture.
Anybody surprised that I drew a purple butterfly Big Brother wasn’t. As soon as I drew the darn middle part for the body he says “I know mommy, you are drawing a butterfly”. Am I really that predictable?
Well all that matters is my son loved my picture. He made me hang it on the wall so daddy could see it when he got home from work. IN fact it is a week later and the picture is still taped to my living room wall.
