To Catch Up
Little Brothers Birth Story – Part 1
Little Brothers Birth Story – Part 2
On With The Story
Since coming home we have all been adjusting well despite Little Brother thinking that every night between 1 and 6 am it is party time. Tobei has been a great help and staying up with Little Brother most nights so I can get lots of sleep and recover quickly. It has been 10 days since he was born and I am at about 90%. I just need to remember to take it easy as the few times I have forgotten my body has made me pay for it.
Big Brother is doing fantastic. He loves his little brother and even asked if we could keep him. Of course we can, he is NOT going back where he came from. Yes that was my answer to him LOL! He is a great helper who will run upstairs and grab me diapers when we run out downstairs. He also loves singing to Little Brother and watching him sleep. It is so cute when Little Brother is having a meltdown and Big Brother will just walk over and start singing his version of rock a bye baby. Melts my heart.
As I mentioned in Little Brothers Birth Story Part 2 he weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces when he was born. On day 3 the midwife came over and weighed him. Before weighing him she warned us that this is usually when they are at their lowest weight before gaining back their birth weight. Not my piggy, he weighed in at 8 pounds 3 ounces. Today we had another midwife appointment and he is up to 8 pounds 9 ounces. This boy sure loves his food.
On that note I must run. I have lots of catching up to do for the short time I have in the basement. I totally snuck away and dinner will be ready soon. Enjoy the pictures
