The other night while I was trying to catch up in blog land after going away for a few days, I saw another bloggy friend blogging about this new site The Blogger’s Concierge. Seems like a great up and coming site for bloggers. I subscribed and also noticed they were looking for A listers to be a part of the A List Affair. Being a part of this list means having an ultimate insider pass to the best of the blogosphere. Well sign me up. The catch? You have to do a blog post telling them about you, your blog and why you are an A-Lister. Now I know I totally rock and you know I totally rock but how do I tell them that I totally rock? I totally suck at talking about myself. WOW! I just said totally way to many times for my liking, I almost sounded like a valley girl. Like ya know 😉 OK that was lame. Well here I go.
Can I just cheat and say go read my About Me page? That would be really helpful. To sum it up I am a stay at home mom to Little Man who turned 3 this week. I am engaged to the wonderful Tobei who you can find blogging here as well whenever the mood strikes him. I am honest though sometimes brutally honest as I like to tell it how it is. I am real and I am a what you see is what you get kinda woman.
About my blog you ask. Well the tagline is “Fluttering My Way Through Life” and pretty much sums it up. I don’t have a so called “niche” except for life. I am a firm believer that life is a perfectly acceptable “niche”. I blog about whatever is on my mind. It could have to do with being a mom, wife-to-be or just something that is on my mind. I think the posts featured on my Best of Nolie’s Place page will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect from my blog.
Why I am an A-Lister you ask as well. I am an A-Lister because I am real. You don’t have to second guess my motives or wonder what I really mean. I put it all out there. There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom and not being what I call the stereotypical SAHM. I love being real. On top of that and I am sure many of my readers can vouch for me. I love to help out my friends. If I see a blogger calling for help with their blog I am there to help them if I can. I have been known to do last minute guest posts to help them in a time they have had to leave on short notice. I have been known to spend hours helping them fix their blogs that they want to make changes to it. They think I am a Goddess but really Google is my best friend. I have also been known to spend days trying to help push them over the edge and join wordpress, then offer to help them make the move. I am amazed at the amount of people who just need that giant gentle push to make the change.
To sum it all up I think I am a great fit for the A-List. I am also looking forward to this new adventure. I love adventure from the comfort of my home in my pajamas. Oh yes… This A-Lister lives in her pajamas.
