I don’t know about you but growing up one of my favorite treats to get were the Kinder Surprise treats. Not only is the chocolate absolutely amazing and so yummy but you also get a cool toy with every treat. I even remember at Easter time waiting to see if I would get one of the giant Kinder Surprise eggs. It would be the first thing I would eat out of all my treats. To say I am a Kinder addict would mean I have to admit I have a problem and I don’t think enjoying these wonderful treats is a problem.
Then Big Brother was born I could not wait to share this fantastic treat with him. However we quickly found out he was lactose intolerant. Lucky for me he outgrew it and we now are able to share in the experience of enjoying a Kinder Surprise treat. It works out great too. He gets one half, I get one half and together we make the toy. Ok I lie. Usually he takes off to make the toy by himself if Tobei doesn’t beat him to it. Obviously we all have a love for this treat and maybe I should start buying more than one at a time.
This is going to become even easier as Kinder Surprise re-launches in Canada with all new toys for 2012. If you go over to Kinder Canada’s facebook page you can see the new toy collection. They look awesome to me and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. One could say the toys have grown up so to speak.
Another great thing about Kinder Surprise that I did not know and I have to point out is they are peanut free. With Big Brother starting school this year we have not been told yet but I pretty much know everything will need to be peanut free. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if all schools were peanut free these days. Well I can feel safe knowing that I can send a Kinder Surprise treat with him to school as a treat and know that not only will he enjoy it but that I do not have to worry about peanut allergies.
