Before I head to bed with hurricane Irene on my mind I wanted to leave a message to everyone who is and could be affected by it. Please take all safety precautions you need to take. Stay safe and listen to any evacuation orders.
Also I have read in numerous places that emergency services are asking to please stay off your cell phones. All air waves are needed for emergencies. If you need to let someone know you are safe send them a text and call them later.
When preparing your family don’t forget about your animals PLEASE! Get animal food, water, tag them and whatever else they also may need. They are family too.
