Happy Birthday Tobei

I just wanted to take the chance to say Happy Birthday to one of the most important men in my life. Sadly he had to work but he did have the afternoon off. He got to spend a lovely 3 hours napping before I woke him up so he would sleep tonight. We had his favorite dinner (Shepherds Pie) which as usual there was no leftovers. We then got to eat cake. He wanted chocolate so Little Man and I made him a chocolate fudge cake with chocolate icing. I won’t even tell you how many pieces he ate. Lets just say I must have done a really good job at making it.

I gave him his present last week because I could not hold on to it. Since we are not married yet and due to circumstances we have no idea when that will be, I bought him a ring. It is a sign of my love and commitment to him. It has not come off his finger since I gave it to him.

I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said go to the movies. So tomorrow we are taking Little Man to see Gnomeo and Juliet. Wish us luck. It will be the first time we ever take Little Man to the movies. I will come back tomorrow night and let you all know how it went.
