All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBiasTwo years ago I shared with you all how I was no longer allowed to get oil changes. For those who didn’t read the post the short version is I ended up leaving my jeep behind and purchasing a van. A van was much better for our family. When we have our step-son visiting the jeep just did not hold us all.
While the van works great for fitting people it has no storage space. It is constantly littered with garbage and kids crap. I was tired of looking at my messy van. So when Collective Bias offered me a shoppertunity to organize my van I was all over it.
I am not going to lie. Before heading out on my shopping trip I checked out the Canadian Tire website. I had a ton to do on this day including groceries so I had to be prepared. I had a list of about 5 different things I wanted to check out. Not knowing where I would find these items in the store I left the kids at home and went on my own. Last thing I need is whiney kids bored with shopping when I am trying to get some more organization in our lives.
I did not have to travel far. Aisle 7 had the goods. ALL the goods I was looking for. It ended up Canadian Tire keeps all it’s products to get your car organized in one aisle. I was so happy. I could compare everything I was considering without travelling all over the store.
So what was I looking for? Well I wanted something to hold my kids snacks and drinks. I needed something to store the electronics out of the eyes of potential theieves and I needed a garbage can for the van.
While comparing everything along with price tags since I was on a budget I came across the AutoTrend back seat organizer. It had everything I was looking for. A spot for their drinks, a part for garbage, a spot to hid electronics and for a bonus a spot to hold kleenex. SOLD! Even better it was only $19.99 so I went a little over my $30 budget and bought 2 so that each kid had their own.
It was a very hot day when I sent my poor husband outside to install the back seat organizer. I am a huge wimp and no way was I going out in that heat. In less than 5 minutes Tobei had it installed and came back in with pictures for me to share on the blog.
I am one happy mommy. Today we went out with the kids and when we came back there was nothing on the floor of my van. Everything was in the organizer. Now I just need to go get the van cleaned again and we can celebrate having a clean and organized van.
I do need to go back to Canadian Tire soon though. I found some really cute bins to use in the back of the van to keep things from rolling around. I was never a Canadian Tire shopper before but I am totally going to hit them up again to finish getting my van 100% organized.
