Finally…. Tobei will be home tomorrow. I didn’t blog it because I don’t like to advertise when he is away but he has been gone for the past two weeks. I am lucky that a friend came up to stay with me and help while he was away but what a 2 weeks it was.
The day he left I ended up taking Little Man to the walk in childrens clinic because he had a rash on his face. Remember I don’t drive so there and back was $25 to the taxi company. Get to the clinic and I am in one heck of a mood and Little Man is not listening. I have enough and in one of my not so finer moments tell him to sit his ass down. Well doesn’t mother of the year 3 seats down from me then decide to speak up and start in on me about how I don’t need to speak to him like that. Well excuse me lady but 1) I tried everything else for the past 20 minutes and nothing else worked and 2) If you want to scold anyone speak to the mother 3 more seats down from us who is threatening to slap her child. Needless to say I told this woman I didn’t ask for her opinion and she didn’t say anything else to me.
We finally see the doctor and we find out Little Man has impetigo. We leave the clinic and me, my sore hip and my son start walking to find a pharmacy to get his prescription filled. I check my iPhone and it says the pharmacy is only 2 blocks away. After walking 2 blocks I still don’t see the stupid place so I check the iPhone again. Well what do you know… I went 2 blocks the WRONG WAY!!!! Grrrr turn around, walk 4 block and we finally find the pharmacy. Thankfully it was quick and painless and we were on our way home.
I then spent the rest of the week worrying about storms. I already shared that with you all though in my post who needs drugs. Add to the mix a child who loves to push his limits even more when Tobei isn’t home and the fact that I am 18 weeks pregnant and we all know the mood swings pregnant women can have. Needless to say we have been having a blast over here *insert huge eye roll*. So thankfully Tobei is home tomorrow and life will go back to normal. Ok that is a lie. We get full swing into getting ready to move mode. I don’t care. I am just happy to have him back home soon.
OH and on the 8th we go for the big ultrasound. You know, the one where we hopefully find out the gender. Let’s hope baby co-operates.
