I must admit I have an amazing group of friends. This is proven once again with another “holiday” approaching. Rosie from 9erDomestic is a huge Halloween fan. So she decided to get our group of friends and their families together for a Halloween party. Even smarter was this proved to be a fun and easy way to get our pumpkin carving done. We gathered the kids around the table (well, I hid behind the camera) and the gutting and carving began.
Rosie seriously went all out for this Halloween party. Where Pinterest makes the rest of us feel completely incompetent she totally nailed it. From ghost and pumpkin fruit. To eyeball and brain juice. She had it all. My favourite though was the mummy hot dogs. Sadly I did not get a picture of them. We ate them all way too quick.
Oh what is my Homemaker Monday inspiration behind this post? Well it goes along with my Thanksgiving Homemaker Monday post. The biggest secret to nailing this homemaker job in my opinion is having help and support. This Halloween we all got together and celebrated with our families and got the pumpkin carving completed and ready for the big night. Everything is better when you had good friends to the mix and make it fun. Not everything about homemaking has to be boring or seem like a job.
