Can you smell that? That is the smell of people all across North America firing up their grills for another season of BBQ’ing. For me campfires and the smell of a BBQ are tied at first place for my favorite smells that remind me of summer.
Lately I have been watching the home and garden channel. Don’t ask me why. I don’t even own my home and won’t buy a house for another 5 years or so. Tobei doesn’t even understand it and in fact does a lot of complaining when I put the TV to that channel. Hey, at least I will be a pro come the time we do buy a house right? Just agree with me. Smile and nod while slowly backing away.
One thing that leaves me super jealous while watching the shows and especially at this time of year are the GORGEOUS outdoor kitchens some of these places have. I am talking green perfectly trimmed yards surrounding a super comfortable looking patio set. Then they go all out and they have mini fridges and dishwashers installed out there. I don’t even want to imagine the money they spent to perfect these outdoor spaces. Instead I choose to close my mind to thinking about it and just drool and hope to one day have a backyard like that for me and my family to enjoy in the summer.
