In Medicine Hat, Alberta Bobbi Jo and Kurtis Ketcheson gave birth to their daughter Grace at 12:46 AM. Not only is their daughter the first born baby of 2012 but their son Jack is the first born baby of 2011. What are the odds? This family should start buying lottery tickets.
The City of Buffalo found Brighid Rosputni having the first baby of 2012. Though not yet confirmed she may also be the mother of the last baby of 2011. Her twins were born 33 minutes apart and due to their birth dates they are twins born in different years. Now this I find pretty cool but when I mentioned it on a forum I belong to someone pointed out something that now has me thinking. Many school boards have the cut off date for entering the first year of school as December 31st. What will happen with these twins? Will they have to start school a year apart or will the school board make an exception for them?
